Color customization
You can freely customize the colors of the QR code:
- Foreground: The color of the QR code modules (default: black)
- Background: The background color (default: white)
- Transparency: Enable this option for PNG/SVG exports without background
Ensure sufficient contrast between foreground and background so the QR code remains readable.

How to add your logo:
- Click on the upload field or drag your logo via drag & drop
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG (max. 5MB)
- The logo is automatically centered and given a white background

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data stored?
No, all QR codes are generated directly in your browser. No data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
How many characters can a QR code store?
This depends on the data type: Numeric (7,089), Alphanumeric (4,296), Binary/UTF-8 (2,953 bytes). The more data, the more complex the QR code becomes.
Why isn't my QR code being scanned?
Possible reasons: Too little contrast between colors, too complex content, too small logo or damaged print. Use higher resolutions and more contrasting colors.
Can I edit the QR code afterwards?
The content of a QR code cannot be changed. You must generate a new QR code with the updated content.
Which scanner apps do you recommend?
Most modern smartphones have a QR scanner integrated in the camera app. Alternatively, there are free apps like "QR Code Reader" or "Scanbot".
✨ Best Practices
For optimal scan results:
- Use high contrast (e.g. black on white)
- Leave a white border around the QR code (Quiet Zone)
- Test the QR code before printing with different devices
- Print at least 2×2 cm in size
- Avoid reflective surfaces
For marketing purposes:
- Add a call-to-action ("Scan for...").
- Use tracking URLs to measure usage
- Place QR codes at eye level
- Offer added value for scanning
Always create a test scan before printing QR codes in large quantities!
